Our Conference

On behalf of our entire Secretariat and staff, it is our great pleasure to welcome you to the inaugural Alliance Model United Nations Conference, AMUN. Hosted at North Hollywood High School, AMUN marks the continuation and expansion of North Hollywood’s successful NOHO MUN conference. This year, we are proud to introduce a new collaboration among four schools throughout Los Angeles: North Hollywood, Venice, Chatsworth, and Reseda High Schools. By working together, we bring in diverse experiences and perspectives that strengthen our conference and allow AMUN to reflect the best of what each school has to offer.

AMUN is proud to present a wide range of committees designed to both challenge and excite delegates. From a dynamic crisis on the Kendrick vs Drake rivalry to a novice ECOFIN committee tackling food insecurity caused by inflation, our topics strike a balance between creative simulations and real-world policy debates. With committees crafted for both middle schoolers and high schoolers of all levels, AMUN strives to be a space where every delegate can learn, grow, and contribute meaningfully to the discussion.

What sets AMUN apart is not only the variety of its committees but also the passion and dedication of its staff. Our collaboration across Los Angeles makes us stronger, allowing us to combine different strengths and perspectives into one unified vision. Each chair, organizer, and staff member is committed to making sure that every delegate has a positive, engaging, and memorable experience. Together, we are AMUN, and we are honored to begin this new tradition with you!
